Ministry of Us was born in 2018 from my deep longing to join a financially accessible and morally uncorrupted, socially relevant and radically inclusive priesthood.

A priesthood that does not exist... yet.

I want to create sanctuaries of acknowledgement, practice and support for a lost generation of spiritual leaders, to build kinship and community among my peers who are devoted to divine service. We diverse folx are sorely let down by secular capitalism’s wilful destruction of the ethical, sacred and spiritual institutions of daily life, whether those attacks be on organised religion, or the sacred pathways that came before.

For those who, like me, feel the calling to minister their communities - a calling to priesthood which is at least as old as the agrarian age - I see you.

Come find me, let’s pray together. Let’s speak to god(S) in public.

WHAT IS *MINISTRY OF US* DOING?

Drawing a circle around a transformative generation of spirit-keepers who - whatever their relationship to organised religious activity - are committed to the spiritual wellbeing of their communities.

Asking relevant questions about spiritual leadership, community tending and collective purpose in this time of Great Turning, and growing answers that will evolve in collaboration with Nature.

Lighting up emergent, open-source and non-hierarchical pathways to co-create a New Ministry that is visionary, empowering and accountable to the World our hearts know is possible.

WHAT DOES *MINISTRY OF US* MEAN BY “MINISTRY”?

Ministry of Us has no fixed definition of “ministry” beyond an emergent knowing that some of us just *are* priests.

Community organisers, ceremonialists, diviners, healers, therapists, social entrepreneurs, festival crew, Burners, philosophers, artists, teachers, counsellors, facilitators, lawyers, politicians, carers of people and animals, chefs, home-builders, gardeners...

Some of us just *are* priests.

Some of us just *do* tend the community.

Some of us just *give* our time and resources to our kin.

Some of us just *offer* our lives in service to the collective, to guide and shape our changing lives, to support and witness the transition of All Beings.

Together, let’s redefine what ministry can be for our generation.

What can ministry be when it is radically inclusive, identity fluid, justice-centred and Nature-based?

What can ministry be when it is *respectfully* unaffiliated to any formal religion…

When its pathways and resources of knowing and caring are shared with all who want to receive them, without institutional gatekeepers…

without hierarchies…

without financial and gendered barriers to access…

and with transparent power structures.

Let us learn to lovingly minister each other.

Let us be the ministers of us.

Let us be the Ministry of Us.
